五味　彬 AKIRA GOMI

1953年東京生まれ。1974年日本大学芸術学部写真学科入学。在学中から写真家吉村則人のアシスタントをする。1977年卒業後、渡仏し、写真家ローレンス・サックマン、ミッシェル・ベルトンに師事。1983年帰国後、ファッション誌『流行通信』『エル・ジャポン』などで活躍。1991年マガジンハウスより写真集『YELLOWS』が出版されるはずであったが、配本直前に突然中止され、すべて断裁処分される。1993年日本初のCD-ROM写真集『YELLOWS』を発表。その後、『YELLOWS2.0』『AMERICANS』『YELLOWS3.0』など2000年までに14タイトルを発表。1997年東京都写真美術館で《アウグスト・ザンダーと五味彬》展開催。1997年よりバンタンデザイン研究所で写真とWebデザインを教えはじめる。1997年DIGITALOGUE Gallery Tokyo（東京・原宿）で個展。 1999年ハンブルグ「新客観主義展」、オランダハーグ美術館「黄金分割」展に出品。2008年キャノンギャラリー（銀座、名古屋、梅田を巡回）にて個展、同年、ときの忘れものにて個展《五味彬写真展 Yellows 1.0》。2009年新たにShINC Projectを立ち上げ、2012年ShINC.MAGAZINE創刊号を発行。2012年5月から7月にかけて、還暦記念連続写真展『AKIRA GOMi/ELEMENT』を、ときの忘れもの、ZEN FOTO GALLERY、GALLERY COSMOS、みうらじろうギャラリーで開催。
